1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Additional Info:
Here is an all original (except new battery, fan belt and spark plug wiring harness) Car was purchased from my next door neighbor who was a Heavy Duty Mechanic. Always garage kept. A very comfortable and tight ride. Excellent interior with some slight fading. As previously mentioned there is a small scuff on the front left side bumper and a scuff on the passenger side wheel well trim. The neighbor knocked over his mailbox. There still are writings from the production line on the inner fender wells. I have not tried to doctor up the car in any way to leave it in its unspoiled condition. In Canada, he assembly plants used the 305 Chevy motors and as such, believe that parts for a 350 will work on this motor. The car is fully licenced and insured for anyone wishing a test drive. Located in Vancouver Canada north of Seattle Washington. Can arrange for delivery to western Canada or the western US. For any questions I can be contacted at 778-230-2477. $ 500 deposit by Bank Draft, ash or email transfer. Balance in 7 days maximum Cash or approved Bank Draft. See Autocheck. For the buyer, will be providing the original Auto Check Report. There were no issues at all with the Autocheck. It was perfect. ( Ebay does not have a method for placing it on the sales ad) If the buyer wishes, can send a scan of the Auto Check Report by email. After the sale closes. I am prepared to deliver the car to Western US or Western Canada for a very nominal fee. (Of course the buyer will be paying the expenses and return airfare). If the buyer is travelling to Vancouver, anada; I will pick him or her up at the airport. Vancouver is 45 minutes away from the Washington State border. For an American to travel to Canada, ou will need a valid Passport and to temporarily insure a vehicle in Vancouver, ritish Columbia; Canada...you will need your valid Driver's Licence. Please be advised that there are certain restrictions to crossing the border into Canada if you have a Criminal Record. Otherwise, he process is simple. If the buyer has any other questions, eel free to call me @ 778-230-2477 up until 11:00pm PST Friday or 5:00pm PST Saturday.
In answer to the phone question...yes it has a new heavy duty Bosch Alternator The factory 4 bbl carb, believe, s a Rochester Quadrajet with the tiny Primaries and the large secondaries. Behind the Space saver Spare there is a new spare serpentine belt. The next oil change is due in 3,000 miles. (sticker on the windshield) and the fluids, elts and tires were checked at Canadian Tire (Canadian national auto franchise) 3 weeks ago. The interior is in great shape but the carpets need a vacuuming. The Lower sidewall chrome trim is in exceptional shape but only needs to be polished up. I purposely did not detail the car so it would present as original without smoke and mirrors.
Questions by phone: 1. Yes, t has a Rochester Quadrajet Carborator. 2. Yes, t has the hinges on the front grille. ( i did not clean up the grill) 3. I was asked to wash off the area behind the front licence plate. See the before and after using Palmolive Dish Soap.
More questions: Any cracking on the dashboard or steering wheel...NO...Does it have the Open Trunk Button option in the glovebox...YES...You press the yellow button and the trunk opens...flawlessly. On Mar-08-16 at 20:46:58 PST, eller added the following information:Note to Ebayers on Ebay.ca. The Speedometer reads in kilometers as the car was built in Canada. The Listing is on Ebay.com in the U.S. and those listings show up only in miles. To change kilometers to miles divide the kilometers by 1.6 to get the miles as stated on the listing. Thanks.
