BRIEF DESCRIPTION: nice patina !
The car was bought NEW in 61 here in AZ and has been here its
whole life. This info comes from the 2nd owner, the original was
his father in law. They quit driving the car about 25 yrs ago
but it was parked in the Az dry climate. Rubber and vinyl are deteriorted
as you can expect, but the car is very rot free. Lots of surface rust and
patina to the original paint or whats left of it.
Motor does run, Ive heard it myself, its just not road worthy yet.
Brakes need to be bled, ..may need more from sitting so long. The brake
drums on this car are HUGE btw.
Factory AC car and its all connected still and intact.
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.
DRIVETRAIN: this car has its factory 394 V8 with options like
AC, PS and PB. Motor ran fine when we poured some gas down the
carb and hit the key. Not knowing the condition of the fuel tank, Im going
to try to make it mobile with a small electric fuel pump and small gas
tank under the hood for now. Not sure about the brakes yet. The
auto trans is in good shape too as is the rearend.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, although it looks okay in the pics
the interior was redone about 15 yrs ago too. And its already very worn
looking from the AZ heat an sun. So expect to redo the full interior
in the future. Its all there at least for the most part and the chrome is
in very nice shape,. little to no pitting. I believe the interior was beige
and gold originally and think the roof outside was gold also from the factory.
EXTERIOR:the body and and original sheetmetal on this car are in really
nice shape for their age. Windshield is cracked bad too.
I believe the paint to be original from 1961 too, and see no signs of previous
repairs or bondo. It has a few minor dents on it, but for the cars age its
minor by comparison to most cars. The bumpers are almost perfect as is the
grill.
During restoration, you could go back 100% stock....
or RESTO MOD the heck out of it !!
The stainless on the outside of the car is in really good shape and its all there!
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks very much original and tires are pretty
old and mismatched of course. Rims too... mostly just for rollers.
Nothing weird to report here, mostly all original but functional as is!!
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
