1967 Oldsmobile 442 442 Tribute Additional Info:
I've finally decided to let him go. Its my 1967 Olds 442 (Tribute)
It Started life as a Cutlass "S" Convertible, Then with a little sweat and a lot of money a 442 was born. The only two things that make it a tribute car is; No louvers in hood (I could not find one) and Stock 10 bolt rear end (no sway bar). Everything else is real 442.
The car is black on black on black.
#1 Top is black cloth (the good stuff) with glass back window.
#2 Interior is Black with cloth insets, (when the suns out, you don't get burned with the top down.
#3 Shiny Black paint with only one flaw (very small amount of paint bubbling on drivers side rear Between top of fender edge and trunk edge. (Sorry I ran out of money to fix it) the rest of the car is gorgeous.
The motor is a Olds 330 c i with a healthy cam (Sounds Amazing) coupled to a turbo 350 trans.
If you are looking at this ad, you know real 442,s this year go for $42,000, a Cutlass S goes for $24,000. The tribute cars price range is half way between the two. (According to Hagerty Vintage car pricing) That is in a perfect world where everyone has extra money to spend. I know I will not get near what I have In the car, but its time to pass him on. PLEASE PLEASE ask questions, and if you bid you are going to buy
