Up for sale is a JDM 1990 Nissan Fairlady Z - Twin Turbo, also known as 300ZX outside of Japan.
Aztec Red. the VG30DETT engine and a 4 speed AT transmission, pushing 300hp and 283lb of torque. Mileage on the dash is displayed as 98,xxxkm (or 68k miles). Customs cleared and legally imported from Osaka, Japan in Mid 2022 and garaged ever since arriving on US Soil. The car has tasteful modifications and is in pristine condition for its age. Driving Impressions:
The interior is in mint condition, seat upholstery is in like-new condition with no stains or tears. Impeccable for a car this age. Everything in the cabin is fully functional. There is a patch on the driver side seat where 300zx are commonly known to tear but has been patched up intelligently. Not a smoked in vehicle. The AC blows ice cold and the automatic climate control is fully functional.
On cold start, the vehicle always starts up immediately without hesitation. The transmission shifts smoothly and the vehicle pulls hard on demand. The Kakimoto exhaust does not drone when the RPMs are low and the vehicle is idle but blow pleasantly and explosively once you step on it. It sounds strong but not obnoxious. Both turbos perform flawlessly and the car feels stable when maneuvered or on harder corners.
The removable T-Tops can be removed and placed in the original provided pouches in the trunk, giving it an edge over convertibles due to the reduced wind in the cabin when driving. It is definitely an exotic looking, eye catching vehicle that gets plenty of attention everywhere it goes. Not only because it now rare and RHD but for its timeless styling that even convinced Lamborghini to borrow styling cues for its headlights back in the 90's. The VQ30DET engine has plenty of tuning potential and is known to handle a tremendous amount of HP if the new owner decides to go that way.
As one of the few cars that gave the legendary Supra a scare in the 90's, it still holds its own against modern vehicles in terms of speed and style. It will continue to rise in value in the years to come.
