✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪[MODIFIED 1994 NISSAN SKYLINE GT-R 2.8L | AUTO GALLERY YOKOHAMA BUILD]This is a one-off refreshed and rebuilt from the ground-up 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R 2.8L by the famous Auto Gallery Yokohama (AGY), who are sought after GT-R specialists in Yokohama, Japan.
The chassis was refreshed and is now showing 78k kilometers (~48k miles). The car is finished in Red Pearl Metallic over a gray cloth interior that has been fitted with a bolt-in roll cage, an OMP steering wheel, an AG-Y gauge cluster, and various controllers. The factory RB26 inline-six was replaced with an RB26 crate engine stroked to 2.8 liters with an HKS Step 2 kit, and it is matched with a single HKS turbocharger, an HKS intercooler, an HKS camshaft, HKS injectors, a Tomei muffler, Tomei valve springs, a SARD aluminum radiator, and more. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a NISMO six-speed GETRAG manual gearbox from an R34 as well as a Cusco front limited-slip differential and an ATS rear LSD. The suspension has been modified, and 18″ Enkei wheels are fitted over AP Racing brakes at each corner. This modified R32 GT-R is now offered in California with Japanese export paperwork, EPA and DOT paperwork, factory manuals, and a bill of sale.
The exterior is finished in Red Pearl Metallic (AH3) and features widened GT-R–specific bodywork and aerodynamic features. The windshield and quarter glass have been replaced along with the associated seals. Tow hooks as well as front bumper ductwork have been installed, and the paint and trim are shown in detail in the photo gallery below.
Each corner has been fitted with 18″ x 11″ Enkei GTC01RR wheels mounted with Dunlop Direzza 295/30 tires. Braking is handled by AP Racing six- and four-piston calipers paired with an R34 NISMO N1 brake master cylinder, and a power-steering cylinder from an R33 GT-R reportedly has been installed. The suspension and controlling have been modified with the following components:
The interior features manually adjustable factory bucket seats over black carpeting that has been fitted with black and red checkerboard mats. The rear carpeting and seats have been removed, and a bolt-in 12-point roll cage has been installed. The dashboard was replaced under current ownership, and carbon-fiber door panels are fitted. The vehicle comes with a Carrozzeria MVH-790 stereo with USB and Bluetooth connectivity has been added.
A flat-bottom OMP steering wheel sits ahead of factory instrumentation and a six-digit odometer that shows approximately 78k kilometers (~48k miles) on the chassis, and 7k kilometers (~4k miles) have been added since installation of the powertrain. A carbon-fiber Auto Gallery Yokohama three-gauge pod has been added with three Defi-Link Meter Advance BF gauges. A carbon-fiber panel in the center stack houses various controllers and timers including a boost-pressure gauge, and kill switches have been fitted to the right of the driver.
The RB26DETT inline-six is a crate engine with an N1 block that was built with an HKS Step 2 stroker kit with a lightweight crankshaft, forged connecting rods, and forged 87mm pistons implemented to increase displacement to 2.8 liters. The engine now features a single HKS T51R turbocharger, and a $39k receipt for the aforementioned components is shown in the gallery below. Additional parts installed reportedly include the following:
A NISMO GETRAG six-speed manual transmission for an R34 Skyline was purchased new and installed using a NISMO conversion kit. Power is sent to all four wheels through an ATS triple-plate carbon clutch, a Cusco front limited-slip differential, and an ATS rear LSD. A Do-Luck torque controller has also been installed, and the HICAS rear steering system has been removed. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
