NEW LOWER RESERVE!
Up for auction is my 1988 Nissan Pulsar SE with the 1.6L Twin Cam engine, 5 speed manual. T-Tops and factory Air Conditioning. The odometer shows 75663 miles. I have had the car for approximately a year and was planning on sending it out to my second home in Arizona, but I have too many other cars going out and not enough room for it. This is an adult-owned, non-smoking car.
The SE version was a rarer version of the Pulsar NX and came with the bigger engine and better options. This car is in generally good overall condition. It was repainted and the color changed from silver to all black back in 2013. The paint/bodywork is marginal and showing its age, but it does have minimal rust. (Some has obviously been repaired). At the time of the repaint, some of the trim was removed and was not put back on. I have all of the trim pieces and a box of spare parts that will go with the car along with an original Nissan shop manual.
Mechanically the car is in good condition. It is a blast to drive, very willing to rev and handles sharply. Obviously, it is not perfectand has a number of areas that should be addressed going forward. The clutch will most likely need to be replaced soon, the exhaust rattles and has a leak at the manifold and one of the CV boots is torn. The tires will need to be replaced soon.
All the lights and electronics work at they should and the car has an aftermarket Panasonic stereo feeding the rear speakers. The interior was updated with new black and silver vinyl seat covers front and rear and the interior and carpeting are in very good condition. The rear hatch struts were replaced recently and the rear hatch area is clean and damage free. The T-tops are in good shape and do not leak.
This is a very fun car that is getting harder and harder to find, especially in this condition. For the Pulsar fan, this is a real find. I have had several Pulsars over the years and this is by far one of the best I have owned. I have the title in hand and the car is ready for immediate shipment.
The car is currently located in Lancaster, MA and is also being advertised locally. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. (Local delivery in the New England area may be available by the Seller for a fee). A$500 PayPal deposit is required at the end of the auction and full payment in 7 days or before delivery, whichever is sooner.
