Here we have a 1993 Nissan Skyline GTR V-Spec. This particular car is #1178/1396 of the V-Spec production line. This car is a smooth driver, with a very positive transmission feel. The motor pulls like stock, being that it is only lightly modified. Cosmetically the car has a few changes. On the exterior, the R33 GTR wheels add a decent change, but maintain the 17″ diameter of the stock V-Spec wheels. Inside, the steering wheel and shift knob have added a refresher, and the suede boots pull it together very well. Like most Skylines, this car has signs of rust, which should be visible in the photos. With a little cosmetic love, this could be a great addition to a collection, or just a fun weekend driver!
Entering production in August 1989, the R32 Skyline GT-R was revolutionary in it's class. It was nicknamed "Godzilla" in Australia due to it's ability to outperform the V8 muscle cars that were popular during the time. With a 276hp 2.6L twin-turbo inline 6 and all-wheel drive, it could dominate on the drag strip or road course. The motor was matched to a 5 speed Getrag manual with a final drive ratio of 4.111. Also available was a 4 wheel steering system, helping the GT-R utilize all of it's available grip. With a plethora of aftermarket parts and tuning it's possible to push 1000hp from the GT-R.
