If you are looking for a project car, this is it! We have loved this SE-R for 16 years. It is a FUN car to drive!
PROS:
*It is a Rally edition.
*Body is in good shape with a couple scratches and dings/dents. It will need a new clear coat if not a paint job.
*Seats have no tears or holes (that we have found).
*Dashboard is in great shape.
*New tires (within the last couple of years).
*Water pump replaced in 2009.
*Engine rebuilt in 2011/2012.
*Muffler replaced Jan. 2018.
*Smoke and pet free car.
CONS:
*Currently not driveable. (Please make sure you are able to tow it.)
*Not licensed (we transferred the plates to our newest car).
*Needs new battery.
*Needs fuel injectors replaced.
*Headliner has holes and needs to be replaced.
*Trunk latch does not keep trunk locked.
*5th gear does not work. (Rest of the gears do.)
*Heating fan does not work - can't find the short. (Heat works last we checked. A/C does not.)
*Sunroof has a leak - can't find it. The controller buttons have a short - fixed once, now it won't work again.
*Headlamp lenses have cracks or are broken. (See photos.)
*Fog lights are shot. (See photos.)
*Has oil leak - still can't find it.
*Metal on doors is beginning to fatigue.
*Rubber seals on doors are loose.
