You are bidding on a 1990 Nissan 240SX. What’s different about this 240 than the others for sale? For one, the body is in excellent condition, and unless the owner has an unlimited source of funds (AKA “is rich”) then I’d challenge you to find a cleaner version. To put it in other words... Perhaps one of the most obvious enhancements has to do with the body style in addition to the color. The body is a harmonious blend of the JDM factory 180sx Type-X as well as Kei Miura’s “ROCKET BUNNY” kit that makes the car look muscular. It is powered by a S14 Blacktop SR20DET, and was professionally installed by Import Performance Shop. It cranks up immediately as if it were brand new. The ride is smooth, the exhaust note is probably one of the best that I’ve ever heard out of a SR powered car, and it’s quick at the stock 7 PSI boost level where it’s said to produce 220 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 203 lb/ft of torque at 4800 rpm compliments of the factory Garrett T28 turbo, with variable valve timing.
This 240sx has been driven responsibly, never raced, built for street fun but should be fine on the track. It makes an excellent daily driver but most likely a better weekend car for those that want to preserve it’s pristine condition. It’s fun to drive and looks better than most cars that you’ll see on the road. It’s a head turner, and what you’ll find is that people always start conversations over it. It’s pretty cool.
The million dollar question: Why am I selling the 240?
Simple. My heart isn’t into it like it used to be. I spent so much time and money into this project that I literally have lost interest, and that's despite everyone telling me that I should keep it. No, my friends, I've gotten into sport motorcycles, and am hoping to buy a 2017 Triumph Street Triple R. That said, I do know its worth as well as the time and money that was put into it. This is an excellent buy, and one that you possibly will never see again. So don’t miss out!
My second answer to this question is that I need to save up money for a family SUV, so I’m planning to sell this car for the purposes of a nice down payment. I’m fortunate enough to say (with absolute confidence) that this car is extremely reliable and is in damn-good condition!

*Please note that the mileage on the odometer is 229,441. This 240sx has been a project car, and thus the original odometer was changed to accommodate the newer engine(s). It originally had a SOHC KA24E, then a DOHC KA24DE, and finally swapped to an S14 Black Top SR20DET. The mileage on the chassis is estimated to be around 120,000 miles. With regard to shipping, if the item must be picked up from a nearby location, the mileage may increase up to 6 miles.
