I have a 1989 Nissan Pao RHD (right hand drive) for sale. I imported it straight from Japan, car is in NYC, not in Japan waiting for import, on the road in NY with a clean state title. A limited old school style car designed with the "Pike" team. Check out the wiki on the car for full info (won't allow me to post the link) The VIN isPK10-001786, ebay doesn't allow the actual VIN since it's imported from Japan, so a generic one is given on the listing.
The car has a pretty fresh paint job and was very well done, it's been brought in the door jams and inside the car (even where the spare tire is) in the correct way and looks original, the only way you can tell is in the engine bay. The color is a kind of olive color, you gotta see it in person, looks great with the bumpers and fogs setting it off.
The car has about 66k original miles on it (106xxx kms) It's the more rare canvas top version with a 3 speed auto and 1.0 carbureted motor, that is running great. I've heard these get around 40-50mpg, This one hasn't been driven enough to test it. It's 100% legal and imported by myself, I have all the customs paper work, which I will provide to the buyer. I've gone through the trouble of getting it titled, so it's just a matter of signing the title over, so you don't have to deal with the DMV with customs paper work, but will provide copies of everything with purchase.I personally bought this car from Japan, so I also have the auction information and there were no accidents or major issues with it. I can provide that paper work to the buyer as well.
Has aftermarket rims, aftermarket stereo and really awesome looking fog lights that work perfectly. It's really just an awesome looking little car, very basic, but a great around town car. The trunk is a split hatch (first car ever to have this). Tires have plenty of tread. Working AC.
There are only three issues with the car. For one, it needs a new heater core, I've ordered one from Japan already and it's already here and sitting in a box in the car, it will come with the car just not installed. The other is the canvas top won't open anymore, it's fully closed at the moment and the motor for it runs, but it just sounds like something in themechanismwhere it spins to open and closeisn't catching anymore. This isapparentlya pretty common issue on these cars and fixable. The battery is also dead, the car will start with a jump or jump pack no problem, but the battery won't hold a charge at all.
The car is garaged in Long Island and I canarrangecarshipmentat buyers expense. Anyone local iswelcometo come see it.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
