Up for sale in my beloved 1989 R32 GT-R with 39,133 miles (62,980kms). I purchased this for the original owner in Chiba Japan and imported it into the US under the 25-year DOT exemption rule into Baltimore. The car is currently registered and insured in the state of Maryland with title in hand and ready to be transferred and driven.
The original owner purchased the GT-R new on 12/27/1989 at the Nissan Prince dealership in Chiba, Japan just East of Tokyo. The owner kept the vehicle till it’s eventual sale to me last year. The owner serviced the vehicle religiously at the same dealership in Chiba throughout the life of the vehicle and kept service records in their maintenance booklet (pictured below). All supporting documents I received from the original owner including the original owner’s manual, warranty booklet, and inspections are included.
The vehicle is mostly stock with just the addition of kouki headlights, cross-drilled brake rotors, and the Nismo strut bar added throughout the car’s life. It even retained the stock cassette stereo! The chassis is pristine and the car overall is in excellent condition. The engine runs smoothly and pulls hard with no mechanical issues to speak of. This is one of the cleanest condition GT-Rs I have seen and would be great for a collector looking for a good stock example rather than one to modify.

Paperwork & Registration:
The vehicle was legally imported under the 25-year DOT exemption rule and EPA 21-year exemption with all importation documents available with the purchase of the vehicle including the EPA 3520-1, DOT HS-7, Bill of Lading, and the Customs 7501 Entry Summary form. The GT-R is registered and insured in Maryland with Maryland title in hand (pictured below) ready to go for an easy transfer to the new owner. Cautions:
In regards to defects, there are a few small blemishes to be aware of. The front-passenger side of the front bumper has been scraped (pictured below). There are some light scratches on the hood (haven’t tried to buff it out) and a couple very small dings on the driver-side front fender. There is a small scratch on the driver-side of the rear spoiler as well. On the interior, the driver seat has some wear, and there is a nick on the door panel on the passenger-side. Please inspect the pictures thoroughly so you are fully aware of any visual blemishes. If you would like a closer look at anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.
I have had prior R32s in the past and know the timing belt can be an issue later in the vehicle’s life. I did not see any sign that the timing belt has been changed but at the low mileage, I don’t think it is necessary yet. I do want you to be aware that you likely would need to do that in the future though.

$500 Deposit required within 48 hours. If buyer can not pick up vehicle in person, I can assist arranging shipment on a car carrier. I am located in MD and costs vary on location but from MD to the West Coast has cost me about $1500 in the past. I am also willing to pickup buyer from airport if flying in to pickup.
