1988 Nissan Maxima Additional Info:
Up for sale is an extremely nice Nissan Maxima I have owned for three years. It was purchased new from Ferman Nissan in Tampa. The owner was a Retired officer in the Air Force and was cared for. I purchased it in Missouri where they had moved to be near there kids. He was forced to stop driving at the age of 94 and when he passed his wife listed it for sale. When I got it I replaced the gas tank and the fuel pump and put tires on the vehicle. Changed out the brakes and started driving it. I was moving back to Florida so it made it back to its former home fast. In the past three years it has made it back and forth from Missouri over four times and has been my daily driver. I have replaced the timing belt and water pump as well as the cooling fan this car has ice cold air. The car runs excellent and I would not be afraid to drive in across the country. It has a exhaust leak on the down pipe. I finally found the right part and was looking for a shop to fix it. The rear left window will not work. I was told it was a regulator but I do not trust people to take off interior door panels and put them back on without breaking something so I just taped it up. I was told it will need shocks but I liked a more boat like ride so it was fine with me. I bought a vehicle that my disabled wife can get in and out of more easily so this one must go. I do not warranty this vehicle as none was given to me I pulled up my big boy pants and fixed what needed to be fixed and enjoyed the ride. WATCH VIDEO>>If you go to you tube and type in Florida 1988 Maxima <<<WATCH VIDEO.I have two videos posted one over nine minutes with details including a test drive. My Feedback is 100% because I am honest I have owned three of these and found that they will make 300,000 miles if maintained. Every automatic I have owned has a slight hesitation between gears and this one is no exception I was told it is a linkage adjustment. But why fix what is not broken it works fine. If you have questions ask I do not want any messing around it sold as is where is. I can pick you up from the airport in Tampa or St Pete.
