1993 Nissan 300ZX 2+2, 2 door Additional Info:
As noted all equipment works except for the radio. Climate control and A/C work as new.
As reflected by the mileage, this has been a working car. I bought it from the first owner in 1999, then transferred it to my son from 2008 to 2010 and have had it since then. Manual transmission rebuilt in 2007 at 141k miles. Timing belt replaced twice, last time at 199,668 including water pump, tensioner etc. Other components replaced as needed. Engine itself has required little work - spark plugs and injectors as well as the timing belts. Pics show worn front seat leather but seat structures are still solid and very comfortable. Driver's (power) adjusters and passenger's (manual) adjusters still work as new.
Car has been maintained as necessary to keep it in great running order. Components were replaced as necessary (alternator for example). Just fitted with new Duracell battery. Cardrives very well and sounds great. Auto-crossed just one time.
Currently fitted with 4 Firestone Winterforce tires, all with around 5mm of tread (see pics). As noted an extra set of rims with tires (well worn) is included in this auction (see pic).
There is a slight engine oil leak - I think only when running and probably from the front of the engine.
Body is good except for areas shown in photos - particularly sills in front of rear wheels. Has been in some low speed impacts - van backed into passenger door requiring a replacement door. Rear bumper hit in parking garage. Rear bumper hit in center at intersection. Very minor damage to bumper cover was not repaired and is visible in photos. Left side behind door scraped on bollard at gas station and repaired but not completely successfully. Also I understand that the original owner hit a coyote. The front bumper cover was inadvertently replaced with a Twin Turbo style unit.
Car is located in Peoria, IL area. Titled in Illinois and was registered up to July 2016. While of course things can break at the most inconvenient times, it is believed that the car could be driven to anywhere. If required I will pick up buyer at Peoria Airport (PIA) or local bus terminals.
Great car with a lot of life left. Can be enjoyed as is or, if desired, rear sills can be repaired and front seats replaced or recovered. Enjoy with tops on or off!
Any questions please ask.
