1958 Nash Metropolitan Convertible Project, Runs Drives New Interior Great Start

This car is a really nice project that needs completing. It has been sitting untouched for the past 5 years. It runs and drives and all gears shift fine. The brakes stop well and all of the lights work properly. The clutch engages but is a bit sticky to release (step on the pedal, shift into gear, and if you let off the pedal the clutch will slowly disengage itself). The body is very solid with only some minor rust on the fenders. It started life as a hardtop and was in the process of being converted to a convertible. It comes with a factory top mechanism and latches. The latches have been mounted to the windshield pillar already, but pivots will need to be fabricated for the rear mounts. I've tried to photograph this as best as possible. The car will come with a new black convertible top as well as a new white top boot. The interior is in excellent condition. The seats have been custom upholstered, as have the door panels. The carpets are brand new. One kick panel will need the vinyl reglued. The tires are radials and were put on new 5 years ago before the project was halted. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. This car is being sold as-is. Thanks!
