1955 Nash Ambassador LeMans Additional Info:
This Nash is a very good condition barn find without an engine. Equipped with the LeMans package it came with dual side draft carburetors, which are with the car. It does not have the air cleaner. It has a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive (I think). With an engine, some cleaning and minor assembly this car could be a driver. It has a continental kit spare tire. The car includes the hood and the hood ornament, I will add pictures.
I was going to re-power this car. Nash used torque tube drive and coil rear springs so the suspension anchors to the transmission tail shaft. If the transmission is changed it requires changing the rear suspension. I could not find an adapter for the transmission, period, none, tried all the sources I could find. If someone has a Nash Ambassador six that runs it could be a simple project.
