1993 Mitsubishi Montero Additional Info:

I have for sale a 1993 Mitsubishi Pajero RHD (Right Hand Drive) that was built in Japan sold in the U.K and then imported to the United States. This is a nice running and driver with only 83000 miles and 133139 kilometer on it. This is a 4 cylinder diesel turbo (4M40) engine. The car is a great runner and driver. It is not perfect as its 26 years old and was in the U.K most its life. The under side shows lots of surface rust. The frame is solid I have taken a hammer to every section knocking off the old chassis paint. There are no holes in the frame I have found. There is also minor rust on the body (see photos). This is a very reliable driver. I have taken this Pajero on multiple long tips one over 1000 miles. And it never skipped a beat. It’s not the fastest SUV but it will cruise on the highway at 80 mph with ease. Below are some observations about the Mitsubishi. I have replaced numerous parts to make it more reliable (List below). You can get parts easily off eBay or other internet sites that ship form U.K/New Zealand/Canada/etc. Everything else works but what is mentioned below.
Non Working- Parking Brake- A/C- Brakes could use a change. They have enough pad but rotors are old (Slight vibration in braking)- sunroof does not open but you can hear motor- There is rust (see photos)- 4x4 and Center Diff lock works. This has a rear locker. I can not confirm if its working. It just blinks when I try to engage.-couple dents rear bumper
Work performed- 5 new tires A/T- New Glow Plugs- New Glow Plug heater relay- Multiple Oil Changes- Part of exhaust is fairly new- New Fuel Filter- Air Filter- EGR Delete
