For those of you who are not fully aware of this model which most people aren't, let's give you a reader's digest update on this Japanese Import. Initial the Mitsubishi Delica was built by Mitsubishi for the Japanese market and then branched distribution out to Australia, New Zealand and other Asian Countries and offered in a few different configurations. This particular L300 Star wagon was produced primarily as a transporter for humans. It has seating for up to 8 passengers, is a Right-Hand Drive and Is powered by a 2.5 Liter Turbo Diesel Engine and linked to a 5-Speed Manual Transmission and offers 4-Wheel Drive with both High and Low Range. This Drivetrain is the most preferred combination that was available as they did produce gas versions with automatic transmission with just front wheel drive. These Star wagons are now just hitting the North American Market as in order to import here they must be at least 25 years old to do so.
