1953 MG T-Series TD Additional Info:
This is a very solid MG. Body mounts good, o severe rust anywhere. Just needs a paint job and a little TLC. Numbers matching original motor. Has new wheel cylinders, ires and tubes are brand new. Starts right up, rives as well as expected. Front shocks should be bled, aybe rebuilt. Transmission shifts smooth. The tach and speedometer quit working I'm not sure if it's just cables or is in the gauges. The tach bounced around when it was working. All other gauges work, even have the small plugins for the dash and a little spotlight that goes with it. It has a brand new original turn signal switch under dash. One side curtain is cracked, he other good. Drivers side carpet is bad. Original jack and SU carb tuneup tool kit.
Many extra parts, ome are the old parts that were kept after replacing, ome are new in box. It also came with a heater, didn't know these had heaters or maybe it's another heater he was going to put in.
The tank had some rust in it. I put a couple pounds of 1/4 inch nuts in it and turned it. That's why in the pictures there is an extra fuel filter right out of the tank. Carbs were rebuilt although it has sat for several years, hey seem to be fine. This car has been stored inside for most of it's life, he last seven years in my heated and air conditioned shop.
Clear Kansas title in hand.
