1969 MG MGB Additional Info:
I bought this car intending to fix it up for my older daughter. She has since lost interest and so have I. I have receipts for $2000 spent on suspension and brakes right before the roadster was hit.The original engine runs well and and available information indicates recent work there before the car was struck while parked in the prior owner's front driveway. When I bought it, the MGB needed both fenders (I have since acquired although the L/H is rough), a hood and lower valance (both straight and come with the car). Visual inspection shows no undercarriage damage although the L/H hinge pillar was pushed in. The same MG mechanic who graded the engine did a little work on the pillar and a new door skin seems to fit okay. It has nice steel wire wheels and a matched set good radials. In all, this chrome bumper MGB could be a project car but it would be a lot of work. Since rust doesn't seem to be an issue, that together with all the new parts and a good running engine might make this a keeper. Or, conversely, as a parts car, it is a dandy. Comes with a clean, undated title.
