YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1952 MG TDRuns, starts on first turn, shifts and stops. Has been garage kept it entire life. Driven for car shows, parades and country drives. As with any old classic car, occasional maintenance and repair will be required.This 74 year old car is a complete, running,original, matching numbers vehicle,being sold as a Restoration Project.It is not concours and will require work to be perfect. It’sonly been driven 50 miles this year and needs to be on the road more, and sorted properly.
First owner from 1952 until 2013 and second owner until 2026. Always in private ownership. I’m eighty years old and it’s time to let it go to a new owner.
Original paint fromfactory, MG red and black. Never repainted. 74 year old paint needs to be redone. Rust and wreck free! Been touched up 100’s of times! NEEDS PAINT to make a true show car. Previous owners, both in their 70’s, didn’t care about cosmetics, only that it ran reliably and was properly maintained!
Wicker look is a wrap. Car needs a paint job.
Complete Southern car with solid aluminum body and ash frame.
Excellent side curtains with covers.
Original workshop manual and Owners Handbook, and volumes of MG T Series literature. Includes original Road Tests, Books, Manuals and Sales Brochures.
Nicetool kit. Includes original engine crank handle.
Tachometer not reading correctly. Mileage shows that speedometer was replaced 800 miles ago. Mileage then was believed to be approximately 33,800 miles, but, not guaranteed.
Excellent interior.
Wire wheels with useable tires from 1970’s, purchased from J.C.Penneys!!!
Tonneau cover included, which is not guaranteed to fit, requires installation. Came with the car.
RARE original heater.
Includes a ridiculously expensive, custom made, fitted, 6 layer car cover to keep off the garage dust and dirt…
