The 1979 MG MGB B is a classic convertible car with a black interior and yellow "Inca" exterior. It features a manual transmission, 1.8L engine, and 4 cylinders. This British-made vehicle is a left-hand drive and comes with a wooden shifter knob and steering wheel. The entire interior carpet has been replaced, with sound dampening material laid down prior to carpet install.. The sound dampening extends from engine wall, throughout cab, and even in the trunk. Trunk also has new carpet and trunk carpet kit. Additionally, it includes AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth and Subwoofer, new door speakers, a roof rack, and a battery shutoff for added convenience. With only 49,492 miles on the odometer, this MG MGB B is a unique and stylish choice for car enthusiasts looking for a vintage gem.
Engine starts with little trouble. Transmission is strong with no slipping. Brakes are more than capable. Runs straight down the road and is super fun.
Includes several covers (see pic)...and a spare fuel pump (new in box). Old fuel pump has been rewired and works well (MGB's are notorious for fuel pump issues...but you gotta spare to get you thru many, many years.
Fluids have been updated, as well as spark plugs and wires.
Ask any questions...It's a great little car, but is a 1979. no AC.
-The body is very solid but the paint could use touch up (see pics)...scratch on passenger door, paint chips here and there, crack on driver door near the side mirror (MGB crack)...definitely a 1979. From 10 feet is amazing.
