1953 MG T-Series Additional Info:

Vehicle Original VIN : MICH811700GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this awesome 1953 MG TD Pro Street for your consideration! This thing is an absolute beast with a 6.0L LS that has been upgraded to make plenty of power. The motor features Eagle H beam rods, Weisco racing pistons, the heads are fully ported, and it has an Edelbrock pro flow fuel injection system, polished stainless steel valves, an aluminum radiator, and plenty of other Edelbrock goodies to round out the build. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a turbo 350 transmission and with a 3500 stall converter and console-mounted B&M pro ratchet shifter. After the transmission, power goes through the trick chassis Ford 9-inch rear end with spool and 370 gearings. Done by Checkered Racing out of Indianapolis, IN, the frame is a custom one-off 2x3 square tube. Sitting atop the frame is a straight and true body from a Fiberfab MG TD replica, a well-known producer of fiberglass bodies and kit cars. Finished in a beautiful metallic orange paint, the exterior is aggressive with the Vision wheels wrapped in thick Mickey Thompson ET Street tires. Other exterior highlights include a side exit exhaust, roll bar, and LED headlights. All interior work was custom done by Nick Hardy of Hardy Upholstery located here in Grand Rapids, MI. The beautiful two-tone leather is in great condition as are all interior trim pieces and the RJS Racing harnesses. All gauges are from AutoMeter and there's even a push-to-start button. With a fantastic suspension setup and Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners, this MG TD is a rocketship that hooks right up but can also stop on a dime. This pro-street TD has been built with the highest level of skill and passion and it shows through the extremely high quality throughout. You will be hard-pressed to find another example like the one being offered here. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information.
