We are delighted to present this outstanding, authentic MG TD to the BaT community. This TD boasts an impressive legacy as it remained within the same family from its inception until 2013. The original owner, Ralph, was a multi-faceted individual with notable proficiency in professional fields as a chemist, author, artist and lawyer, apart from being a fervent automobile enthusiast. Ralph remained single throughout his life and dedicated his time and energy to his career and cherished MG TD, fondly referred to as the "Ralphmobile". At some juncture in his later years, he gifted the car to his nephew, who shared a similar passion for automobiles. Regrettably, his nephew passed away in 2013, and subsequently, the car has been meticulously maintained and preserved by two exceptional caretakers since. The car exhibits a superb presentation, encompassing original paint and striking patina, throughout.

It is indeed rare to find a car that has survived almost 70 years with its original license plate, dealer documents, tool kit, crank handle, original keys, and even the original fire extinguisher can truly impressive.
