Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very decent MGA Roadster in nice colors. This car was just purchased from an elderly couple here in the Los Angeles area who were just not using it often enough. It's a good running and driving car that can be immediately put into use and enjoyed for the rest of the season.The bodywork on this car appears decent and solid. Gapping all around is fairly good, with the panels opening and closing OK. Paintwork is older/driver level and looks fairly nice from 10-15 feet, but upon close inspection one can see that coverage and color is variable and there are some spots on the trunk that could use attention. Brightwork is decent and is a mix of new items and originals. The windshield is good.The car's interior is finished in a nice tan leather Moss kit with red carpets and could use a few finishing touches. It's nice, clean and comfortable. The trunk received a carpeted upgrade kit. The light beige soft top fits well and is in very decent shape. There is a newer black tonneau cover included.The engine compartment is very clean and is painted correct body color. The 1500cc bursts to life, revs very well with great oil pressure and sings happily down the road. It's a strong pulling engine that is well tuned. The gearbox is decent but has a weakish second gear syncro that is more pronounced when downshifting from 3rd gear. Nevertheless, the car drives well and is great fun out on the road with nice condition tires, good brakes and steering. PLEASE SEE DRIVING VIDEO.The car's underside looks unrestored and pretty normal for the age of the car. It looks very solid with no rust issues. The car includes some spares that are shown in the still pictures, as well as it's sidescreen set.Overall, a sensibly priced MGA 1500 Roadster in nice colors that is tons of fun and makes all of the right noises. It's mechanically and cosmetically very decent and can be enjoyed right away.
