Comes with tonneau, windows, wind wings, and roof.
Payment via Escrow
Shipping: Arranged by buyer once escrow has cleared
Basic History:
1st owner: California driven and owned, put 78,000 miles on it. The story is that the guy who owned it in California was going through a divorce and he didn’t want his wife getting the car so he shipped it to his sister where it sat for 40 years! From the mid-80s to 2017
2nd owner: A friend of the 2nd owner told him about the vehicle being stored in the garage. After a full day day uncovering it from a bunch of junk, it was towed onto a tow truck (wheels were locked up), Over $28,000 was spent on a mechanical restoration at 78,342 miles. Approximately 200 miles were put on the vehicle before it was sold to the current owner
3rd owner: Purchased in April of 2019 with 78,570 miles. The vehicle has been driven, taken to shows, and well loved but must be sold due to physical and financial circumstances. One engine oil and transmission oil change has been performed at the end of 2019. Repainted in 2020.
Mechanical Condition: Fully functional and operational. Undercarriage condition is excellent, Both battery boxes are original and excellent condition. Suspension has no play, steering is tight. MGB Carbs.
Body Condition: Painted in July 2020. Original paint had blemishes and evidence of attempts to paint match where paint chipped/flaked off. Freshly painted with clearcoat. Lower edge of the Front Right and Front Left Quarter panels had some rust bubbles, the rust was treated and holes were lightly filled, but are still evident. The door fitment is perfect, they open and close like modern vehicle doors with no rubbing.
Interior: Original leather seats are in beautiful condition with a wonderful patina and no tears. Carpets have sound deadening beneath them. No heat radiates into the cabin.
Modifications: Modern battery. The original radio was modified to include an auxiliary input and two speakers added.
