Overview This is truly one of the nicest original MGB's you are likely to find. Rare color and very rare factory overdrive with only 30K original miles. NO Rust. A wash and go car that has been fully serviced and comes with Roadster Salon's exclusive warranty. If you are serious about buying a collector quality MGB that can be enjoyed daily, this is the car. There are scores of MGBs out there for $5-7K that require significant cosmetic or mechanical repairs.... This is not one of those cars. Pay just a little more for a well sorted driver that is as nice aesthetically as any you are likely to find. Really sharp. Cosmetic Condition Paint appears to be mostly original with several new looking clean panels. Paint overall very good with no over-spray or obvious signs of repaint. Very fresh in overall appearance. Excellent for age of car as photos clearly show. NO door dings or major scratches to mar the impression of a very well cared for MGB. Interior supports assertion that miles are original. Just very clean inside and out. Top looks very good with no tears or bad spots. NO smells or odors. No signs of rough treatment anywhere. Looks like a typical 3-4 year old car. Not a nearly 40 year old vintage classic. Mechanical condition Car has been fully sorted by our staff. No electrical or cooling issues. Replaced clutch master and went through suspension. Engine runs clean and does not overheat. Replaced water pump and fully tested cooling system. Replaced fuel sending unit and filer. Cleaned tank. Tuned and tight. Car is ready to roll. Tremendous value. Market report NADA value for a clean 1980 MGB is $24,700. Average value is listed at $12,050. This is not an average car. Original miles are exceptionally low. Factory overdrive is a very rare find, as is the color. Very few obvious flaws. Everything works, clean undercarriage, no rust. By definition, this is a classic that should bring top end money. Only details keep the car from being advertised in the $20s. We are offering this lovely MGB at $15,500, which is midway between average and clean--making this an extraordinary value. We are standing behind the car with a warranty as well. Thanks
