1975 MG MGB Additional Info:
This is a good little car, 1975 MG MGB. It is mostly original, with a dual carb upgrade that makes it pretty fun to drive. Car runs and drives well. The battery is about 1 year old, and I just put a starter in less than a month ago. Tires are decent but not the newest. Floors and trunk are both solid. Small spot of surface rust behind the drivers door along the bottom as pictured. Has spare and tool bag with some tools in it. Electric fuel pump functions just fine. Car runs, stops, shifts and drives good. There is a nice pair of canvas seat covers that I took off to show the condition of the seats, and they are included in the sale. All lights work. Horn works but sounds weird. Body is overall good- a few imperfections and the afore mentioned surface rust. Also there are a couple of spots where it appears that the car was repainted, and the paint is flaking in a couple of areas, also pictured. Looks like it was repainted the same color. I've put about 500 miles on the car in the last year and it runs well. There is a small tear in the top and the window is coming apart at the seam on one, but I just kept the top down and it stayed in the garage if it rained. Wipers work but it does need one blade. In short, I feel that this is a nice driver quality vehicle that with a little refurb could be really nice. Miles are unknown. The odo reads 70xxx but I cannot verify actual miles. The speedometer in my opinion reads a little slow. It could be because it's a smaller car and lower to the ground etc, but it may need a speedo cable at some point. It isn't noisy and doesn't chirp, and works fine as do all gauges except the fuel gauge which won't go higher than 1/4 tank. I've read that the floats get stuck and can be fixed easily. NO RESERVE means bid to own. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or request more pics. Thank you!
