Has up for auction the ideal summer British classic!
This beauty is a 1978 MGB roadster in all around exceptional condition. Actual documented mileage is 82,141.
The body and underside are completely rust free. No damage nor body filler anywhere. The only thing replaced with genuine MG parts is the driver’s floor. The rest of the body is completely original to the car.
It was repainted ten years ago with its original British Racing Green finish. Always garage kept and well cared for. The paint finish still shines like new. The rubber bumpers, wheels, tires and all the glass are also in great original condition. The convertible top is also in excellent condition. The optional hardtop in black of course goes with the car. The top could use a repaint but is in otherwise good shape.
The interior is excellent. A brand new OEM carpet set was just installed. The seats, door panels, dash and gauge package are all in great condition. No rip or tears anywhere. Everything including the clock are in perfect working order. The original radio was swapped out for an update one.
The motor and transmission are original to the car. No fluid leads, smoke nor hesitation whatsoever. She starts right up, drives straight, strong, lively and stops on a dime. A complete file of repairs including many new parts and service receipts come with the car.
The British sports cars are rising in popularity and collector value. This one can be driven anywhere and often or saved for those summer cruises and car shows.
So if you’re in the market for some a British roadster than this one is for you.
