1968 MG Other MGC Additional Info:
Up for sale is my 1968 MGC Roadster. The car has the rare straight 6 cylinder engine that has dual rebuilt carburetors and runs with the turn of the key. The motor sounds awesome, if you're looking for that classic 6 cylinder sound, this is the car for you.
Car has brand new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, brand new battery, brand new carpet, and beautiful new seat covers. Original seat covers, air box, and unused carpet pieces come with the car.
The car runs beautifully, and will start in gear and shift between gears, but the clutch seems to stick quite heavily. After rebuilding the hydraulic components of the clutch system, it would seem that the clutch seems to stick because it was not driven in some time before getting back to running condition. I'm convinced that the clutch will loosen up with some time behind the wheel as it does come loose with higher RPMs and the clutch disengaged.
Manual brakes without the servo assists, fronts function as they should with firm pedal squeeze.
The car needs body work at this point and with some time and effort could be an awesome car.
