Offering a very low mileage (26,522) 1969 MGC-GT for sale. Some history:
Purchased this car while in Hawaii in 1978 and I am the second owner of the car. The car was then moved from Hawaii to the west coast in 1980 and partially restored. The car was placed into storage in running condition in 1982. It was later moved to New Jersey in2011 to my residence and placed in the garage. At all times, it was stored inside and out of the weather. I rebuiltmost (see note below)of the car while I wasin Washington state. Some of the extra improvements to the car are:
Listed below are some of the extra parts purchased to restore the car and are now included with this sale. There is over $4,000 in new extra parts. Some of the high points:
As stated, I purchased the MGC while I was stationed in Hawaii in 1978. Shortly after buying it, I was transferred to Washington state along with the car. I stripped the car down to the bare metal and fixed the only panel that had slight rust, the drivers side rear rocker panel. I finished partially restoring the car in 1982. I was then transferred to England and the car was placed into storage with only 4 miles on the new rebuild. While in England, I purchased most of the additional parts being included with this sale from Moss Motors Ltd. In 1986, I returned to New Jersey and in 2011, I moved the car toour home and into the garage.Somewhere whiletransporting the car from Washingtonto New Jersey, the car was broken into and the following parts were removed and stolen: one (only had one) vacuum brake booster; the front exhaust manifold; thecarburetor's; distributor and alternator. Everything has been replaced except for the brake booster and alternator. These missing pieces are still available from Victoria British.Thecarburetors and distributor were replaced and professionally rebuilt. This car has great potential and I was originally consideringrebuilding the MGC into a Sebring replica thus the reason for the most of the parts.
