1969 MG MGB Additional Info:
I am selling this for a friend. He has had this car for the last 13+ years and has done quite a bit to it. It came to him with the white paint. Originally it was pale primrose. There was a little body work done at that time.
He has always garaged the car and and really only used it for local club events. In the 13+ years that he has owned it he has covered only 32000 miles. He kept records of all the work done to it and also has a fuel log.
Starting in 2004 he rebuilt the engine and purchased a newly manufactured head, not rebuilt. At that time it got all the new internals you should put in a car.Swapped the original 4 speed to a great running and shifting 4 speed overdrive.Newer hi torque starter.Newer brake master cylinder and front calipers.Newer clutch master and slave cylinder.Tires only have 10000 miles on them in 7 years
This is the major stuff that has been done to the car, there is minor work that has been done also to keep the car in top running order.
Overall the car is a solid 7+ out of 10. Only the flaws in the paint, both at the time of painting and little nicks and chips over the years keep it from be a 9+ car.
The paint is holding up well, but would really benefit from a color sand and buff. I did not see any evidence of rust starting in the usual places.
The dash has a dash cap on it, of course.
Seats and other upholstery is in great condition. It even has the correct 1 year only "tombstone" head rests. Door panels, door cap and headliner are also in great condition.
Mechanically it needs nothing. Fires right up and drives well. No unusual noises or other issues when running/driving the car.
Everything works as it should. Lights, signals, engine, transmission, overdrive, door glass, etc.....
The car runs well and has good power.
If you need more information or pictures of certain areas contact me.
The car has a clear and clean California title in my friends name.
You can fly in to Redding and drive the car home. If you want it transported, I can help with that.

I forgot to add pictures of the engine bay. You can see that it has a down draft webber, instead of the stock SU carbs.
