1967 MGB, 66,134 miles currently on the odometer which, I believe, is accurate, car sold new in Burlingame in 1966, records indicate I am the third owner.
I have done a…
complete engine rebuild for maximum performance and still run on pump gas, Weber carburetor, high performance camshaft, upgraded tappets and rocker assembly, larger gas flow valves, upgraded oil pump, spin-on oil filter assembly, heavy duty clutch kit, lightened flywheel, electronic ignition, performance coil and plug wires, engine balanced, upgraded radiator, seven blade plastic radiator fan, car thoroughly chemically degreased while engine removed.
Front end rebuilt with coil over shocks, castor correction kit, upgraded sway bar and solid mounts, four piston brake calipers, drilled and slotted rotors, stainless steel hoses, performance brake pads, new front steering rack, u-joint, and tie rod ends. EasySteer electric power steering added recently. This unit has the option for full power steering when you want it or turning the unit off when you don’t.
Tourist Trophy performance exhaust system, speedometer and tachometer rebuilt, speedometer calibrated at Commercial Speedometer in West Sacramento, polarity reversed to negative ground, retro model AM FM radio with USB ports installed, two additional speakers added.
Frontline-Costello five link rear suspension upgrade, wire wheels trued and balanced, spokes replaced as needed, front wheels rebalanced on car (all wheel work done at Rite-Way Wire and Wheel in Walnut Creek), four speed transmission with electric overdrive replaced with five speed all synchro Ford T-9 transmission, all wheel bearings replaced, rear axle disassembled and inspected with no unusual wear noted.
One mechanic has handled this car with the instructions to thoroughly inspect and replace anything questionable; it is almost entirely new from the steering wheel and transmission to the ground.
