UP FOR AUCTION: Up for your consideration is a 1950 Mercury Eight Series 4-Door Sport Sedan with the iconic rear suicide doors. This is a legitimate project car with a clean Oklahoma title in my name. I purchased it with plans to build a lead sled, but life got in the way and after 10 years sitting in the garage collecting barn dust, my wife and I decided we'd rather have a mudding toy than another restoration project.

CONDITION:- Running condition: Has not been started in 10+ years - Needs Battery- Body: Solid overall with light rust, typical for age (note, the trunk floor pan is missing I believe )- Paint: Original and poor - plan on stripping and repainting- Interior: Present, needs full restoration- Glass: All present, some chips/cracks possible- Floors/Rust: Shown in photos - light, no major holes- Stored indoors/garage for approximately 10 years
WHY SELLING:Originally bought to build a custom lead sled/hot rod. We slowly bought restoration parts over the years, but after a decade of it sitting we've decided we'd rather be building a mudding rig.
