Additional Info:

The 1946 Mercury 99A is a classic coupe with a body style that can seat 4 people. It has a manual transmission, 8 cylinders, and a left-hand drive. This vintage car, originating from the United States, features a flathead V8 engine and is painted in a primer color. With only one previous owner, this Mercury 99A is a unique find for collectors or enthusiasts looking for a piece of automotive history.
The body is in pieces and off the frame, but it is complete. A Heidt's IFS was installed in 1998 and a ford 9" rear end has also been installed. There was rust in the truck floor and in the rocker boxes which will need to be repaired. I DO NOT have a title for the vehicle, it was purchased from a wrecking yard in the early 90's, and they no longer had the title.
The body and exterior parts have been sandblasted and premiered. The body is in red oxide, and the fenders / splash aprons are in grey etching primer. This is a project car and needs complete rebuilding. It is totally complete; the original flathead and transmission will be provided to the buyer as well as all of the original trim. Will make an excellent foundation for a hot rod.
Currently, the vehicle is in pieces and was in the process of becoming a resto-mod hot rod in the late 90's. Since then, it has sat, and I have no lost interest in the project and would like to give someone else the opportunity to take on this project.
