1990 Mercury Grand Marquis GS

5.0 engine runs fast and strong like new and car floats down the highway even at speed .
All original really nice Mercury Grand Marquis GS with original floor mats, factory keys and vin tags, original dealer paperwork, factory mudflaps, original trunk carpet and spare tire cover, along with Jack and spare all in great shape. AM/FM cassette stereo sounds perfect and the cassette player works. All bulbs have been replaced with premium silver star bulbs. 
Drives perfectly . Drive anywhere. It was bought new in New York State and then got put into storage in a barn in Ohio in 1993. Carfax shows someone in 98 in Ohio tried to get it back on the road, but put it back into the same barn. I imagine because it needed an entire new air-conditioning system when I got it and with plush cloth interior was too hot to drive without it
I towed Merc to NJ and it was in storage randomly inside and outside at my friends Allendale Exxon station and only driven locally. In the end of 2024 it finally had working air-conditioning so is now a great driver. All the fluids have been replaced over the past six years along with the power steering motor and alternator.  Car has a negative disconnect, but I don’t use it as there’s no amp draw and it always starts even after sitting for weeks. It’s been outside now for two winters and stays dry inside and trunk is bone dry but the hood paintis starting to go. The passenger side window motor is disconnected as it’s slow to go up and the rear passenger is starting to get slow. When it sits outside and gets super heated, the seatbelt chime randomly comes on for no reason. Other than those minor easy fix items everything else is great. 
Has working power remote truck release, working opera lights, working vanity lights in the visor, working keyhole lights when you lift the door leve, functional hub cap locks with original key . Dome lights activate when exterior door handle pulled. Has really great heat with temperature control and nice cold AC. 

My friend who owned the Exxon sold his garage and passed away last year so I no longer have convenient free storage, nor my connection to reasonable maintenance and repair costs. Finances force me to get rid of this great collector car. 
Car is registered and insured. Car does not have a NJ inspection sticker as it’s exempt and the State refuses to give stickers to pre-1995 gasoline sedans. Mileage stated for today, but may be higher in case potential owners want to go for a ride on I-287 or NJ17 an experience how awesome the car drives .
