Vehicle Overview: Up for sale is a true survivor—a 1975 Mercury Monarch 2-Door Coupe. This is a genuine "Montana Barn Find" that was purchased brand new at Bob Smith Lincoln Mercury in Billings, Montana. It has been strictly one-family-owned since new! After being safely parked and taken off the road in 1988, this classic has been recently acquired by a professional mechanic and expertly brought back to life. It runs perfectly, sounds amazing, and drives exactly like a mid-70s luxury sport coupe should.

Mechanical & Performance: Prior to being parked in 1988, the original owner overhauled the engine and upgraded it with a 4bbl carburetor. During its recent revival, no corners were cut to ensure it is fully road-ready:

  • Complete fuel system overhaul (tank, lines, and carburetor gone through).

  • Heater works perfectly

  • Engine was safely primed; oil pressure was brought up before spark was applied.

  • Starts right up with vigor and a great rumble.

  • Brand new alternator.

  • Brand new exhaust system.

  • Factory Power Steering and Power Brakes (Disc).

Exterior Condition: The car features its ORIGINAL paint and is incredibly solid inside, outside, and underneath.

  • Upgrades: Sits beautifully on brand new custom black wheels and new tires, giving it a fantastic stance. The front grille and rear gas cover have been custom-painted black to match the wheels.

  • Flaws: As an honest survivor with original paint, there are some minor imperfections. There is a small dent/scratch on the passenger side door, a small dent on the hood, and some minor rock chips on the front end (see photos for exact condition).

Interior Condition: The factory red interior is in absolutely pristine, stunning condition.

  • Factory bucket seats with no major rips, tears, or fading.

  • Dash, door panels, and headliner present incredibly well.

  • Features the factory AM/FM radio that still works perfectly!
