Up for auction is this 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7. This car used to be my late Uncle's car. He used to travel around to car shows and win awards and just have a great time with it. I took many photos for you to look at and have more that wouldn't fit into the listing. If you send me your email I can send you all the photos and the file to all the receipts along with a short video of the vehicle running. It runs and drives exactly how it should for a best of show car. I have 107 pages of digitized receipts valued at over $26000 my Uncle has spent on this car over the years including THREE ENGINE REBUILDS. You will be amazed at how much time and money went into the vehicle over the past two decades. The stock motor is a 351w 4 barrel and is fresh with only about 7k miles on the latest rebuild. Taking the time to view the receipts will give you a much better understanding on what parts have been updated to make this a best of show car. NO CRACKS OR DISCOLORATION ON THE DASH BOARD!One of the photos in the listing is the MARTI report for this classic. Shows you all the specific information about the build and where it was sold and on what day. Be sure and check it out and you will see that this car is one of only 417 ever made with this RARE Dark Aqua/light aqua interior trim combo. Pretty cool...The car is located in Northern California in the city of Elk Grove. Just 36 short miles away from where this car was originally sold (Stockton). If you are looking for a turn key classic DO NOT allow this to pass you by without at least checking it out. If you want to see it in person in Elk Grove that can be arranged.Everything on the car works as it should except for the clock I'm told. The headlight covers work, the AC blows cold, the motor is solid. If you want a good running classic that won't leave you stranded then consider this Cougar. These just don't surface in this condition at this price point. Please email any questions and I'll answer then as best as I can. I'm not a car guy like my Uncle was but I'll do my best to answer your questions as they come in.A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours after the sale is made. The remainder in person at a local bank in Elk Grove.Link to 107 pages of digitized receipts (copy/paste)gofile-3658365356.us1.quickconnect.to/sharing/UDussFcPs
