1975 Mercury Bobcat Additional Info:

The car has been completely restored. I cut out the rusted floor panels and spare tire bin and welded in new panels. The front fender wells were cut out and replaced with the new chassis shown in the photos. A new 60" Mustang II cross member was installed with a power rack and pinion and coil over suspension. The chassis was welded into the existing car body. The wheel base was extended 8".The rear seat was deleted. The headliner, carpet, window seals, door seals, windshield, gps speedometer, tach, gagues, brakes, fuel tank, shocks, brake lines, master cylinder, radiator with electric fan, AM/FM Sony stereo with usb port and the whole car has been completely rewired. The engine shown in the pictures is a 2004 new old stock crate engine that has never been used. It is internally balanced and has a rollor cam and makes around 200 or so horsepower. It is converted to a carburator and HEI distributor. It has a small block Ford bell housing bolt pattern. The exhaust manifolds are from an 1988 turbo Thunderbird with O2 sensor ports. One of the C4 transmissions shown is a new TCI street fighter with a 2000 rpm stall converter and SBF bell housing. The other one iscompletely rebuilt with upgraded servos and shift kit but has not been tested. The rear end is a Ford limited slip 8.8" with new 3.08 gears. The engine and transmission are not installed in the car but would fit nicely in the engine compartment. It would need new motor mount supports. I had it in the car at one time but the HEI distributor was supposed to be delivered in two to three weeks but took over six months to arrive. I did not think that I was going to receive it so I pulled the engine and was going to install a SBF engine. I installed motor mount supports for the V8 and never reinstalled the V6. Too many projects and do not have the time to finish it.
