1956 Mercury Montclair Additional Info:

1956 Mercury Montclair Coupe.

Outside is nice. Inside needs nothing. Drivetrain was rebuilt over37 years ago and stored since. 110k miles. Correct 312 Y-block motor. It’s running Beautifully and driving great.During Covid I replaced >

Fuel tank, rubber fuel lines, all 4 wheel cylinder, brake lines, master was cylinder rebuilt, fuel pump rebuilt, water pump, and battery...ALL replaced or rebuilt. Brand New correct size wide white wall bias ply tires and the Mercury god head in the center of the factory hubcaps for year. I have both fender skirts. This is top of the line mercury. More trim over the Monterey medalist and custom models. Merc-o-matic Transmission shifting as it should. Tuxedo black and saffron yellow.

Not a show paint job but a very striking original color combination. Stainless steel trim is not perfect but complete. This car is not modified lowered, chopped or hacked in any way. Except for safety, third brake light. Parts are easy to find in a number of places. Interior includes>New headliner. New carpet. Newly recovered seats, brand new door panels and rear side panels with armrests in correct colors, fabrics. I have found the one place in the country that has the original mylar door panel material, and are being made now. Just Rechromed front and rear bumper guards, and rear brows. And are perfect. Also hood ornament rear deck and tail light chrome was redone. The engine starts and runs beautifully with no knocks, ticks or smoke. Warm or cold. I just drive around my small town I live in….it is not been on the freeway for decades.

Clean clear title in my name.

I prefer calls. Pacific time zone. After 10am and before 9pm. And I don’t need anyone to sell me anything. I’m not very excited about selling this car as it’s been in my family since the 60’s. This IS a one time opportunity. Please don’t waste my/your time to lowball.I may sell locally.
