No reserve auto auction! High bid would own it. 1969 mercury cycle convertible. 351 V8 with automatic transmission Runs very well and transmission shifts fine. Very cold blooded. Have to spray Carburator but easy start when warm. Car has been sitting about 10 years and it’s on Non operation status at California DMV. Current registration fee is about $150 and there’s no back fee due. Tires are old, so do have weather cracks on the site walls. Convertible top works well going up and coming down. Front weatherstripping is loose. Boot has never been used. It’s in nice condition but it either shrank or needs to be stretched to fit perfectly. Rag top fabric is very good. Upholstery is good and carpet is good also. Paint is at least 10 years old and it’s in decent condition. Trunk lid clearcoat is a little dull. Right door doesn’t open right now. Vehicle has salvage title from many years back. I don’t know why. Other than there is evidence of repaired previous damage on the left side of the trunk floor. See photo. Brake pedal is soft but does stop. Ignition key cylinder is loose, but it just starts and turns off properly. Doesn’t seem to have any rust visibly, but I’m sure this sums surface stuff somewhere
