1986 Mercury Capri RS Additional Info:

For sale is a restored 86 Capri with a 5.0L engine and standard shift world class T5. I kept it mostly stock but added a cold air intake and Sony car play double din stereo. It has an amp and speaker box in the truck with a custom bracket to hold the T tops when you take them out. It has all 4 of the stock speakers upgraded as well. It has welded frame rails to tighten up the handling. The engine was removed and all gaskets replaced, a new oil pan, water pump and timing chain as well. It has copper header gaskets. The heads were gone over with a complete valve job while removed. It has a new clutch set, flywheel, mufflers, tailpipes, upgraded high torque starter, alternator, battery, rack/pinion, plugs, wires, fuel pump, gas tank straps, upgraded fuel injectors and all T top weatherstripping, plus all new brake calipers, pads, rotors and drums. Tires are fairly new continental extreme contact DWS 16”. The speedometer is accurate with a gear installed to make it so. Headlight covers are installed with custom brackets and easily removable. Power locks worked recently but are finicky sometimes. I also haven’t had a chance to get the ceiling map light working, but the wiring to it was checked. Price is $20,000 or best offer.
