You are viewing a professionally built Mercury Two Door Coupe Custom. Traditional style with modern running gear for comfort and reliability. The build was finished in 2014. Owned for 6 years with 14K miles driven on the car since finished.

Body/Paint: Unchopped with very nice body and paint work. The car was brought down to bare metal with 3 stage paint. Sunset red over Brickyard red metallic with lots of clear. Wet sanded and buffed. Very nice and has a candy apple appeal to it. Classic color for an early Merc. Shows very nicely. Skirts, frenched headlights and shaved emblems and door handles with door poppers.
Interior: High grade Parchment interior, heated bucket seats with 6 way power, console. Original style bench goes with the car. Vintage AC blow cold, power steering, power brakes, power door poppers with remote, power window and trunk with remote popper, Dakota digital dash with the gauges needed, tilt and digital stereo system. Very nice interior and comfortable.
Running Gear: 351 Windsor V8, built, comp cam, roller rockers, dress up with dual quad Edelbrock carbs, electronic ignition, puller electric fan, Front Runner belt system all dressed. A very nice engine compartment that shows well. Rebuilt C4 transmission, Ford 9 inch rear end with hiway gears.
Suspension: Stock frame with Fat Man power rack and pinion front suspension with dropped spindles, rear leaf springs. Frame mounted LED lighting. 2 inch front and rear sway bars.
Bright work: Non functional flood lights, all chrome and stainless look excellent. Front bumper grille option goes with the car.
Glass: Tinted in great condition.
Exhaust: functional lakes pipes, dueled with nice sounding mufflers.
Brakes: frame mounted MC and brake booster, front disc and rear drum in good working order.
Wheels/Tires: Steel wheels with traditional custom caps. Radials with lots of rubber. 205/75 15 all the way around.
Summary: If you are seeking a traditional 50 Merc that you can drive on road trips and be comfortable this car is worthy of your attention. Nice car with the right color paint for an early Merc.
