You are viewing a very nice original 1964 Mercury Monterey Marauder with 390 4V, automatic and 9" rear. Very low 74000 original miles. The big block 390 starts with a bump of the key and settles into a smooth idle. No smoke or odd noises and has plenty of power. The automatic trans shifts silky smooth. Drives, stops and runs great! Excellent highway cruiser. Recent complete tune up and brakes. New wheels and radial tires (have rear caps). Original hubcaps included.
The body of the car is completely rust free, floors, trunk pan and frame are excellent. The paint is only a few years old and although not flawless, still presents very well. Chrome is nice with very few if any, dings. Bumpers look good, but do show minimal wear. The glass is good and the windows operate smoothly. Doors open and shut like a tank! The interior is great, new headliner, dash pad and upholstery.
All in all this is a very nice and rare Mercury, sure to appreciate in value. I have a very low and reasonable reserve. Please ask all questions and or inspect PRIOR to auctions end. Can store inside (once paid) for up to 30 days free to give ample time to obtain shipping if needed. I work with several reliable shippers, if you need a quote, just let me know. Sold with Bill of Sale and current registration, Georgia does not title cars of this age. I do have a SC title from the previous owner that my DMV didn't take when registered.
Please scroll below this description for over 100 HD pics. It started to drizzle rain as I was taking pics, hence the water droplets. Please allow time for them to load, its worth the wait! Enjoy the ride!
