This cool little car runs a drives (I have a one mile loop of private roads I have driven it around the loop several times) . After sitting a number of years, I replaced the coil, points, condenser, fuel, fuel filter and the car started right up. It runs pretty good for a 57year old car. All the wheel cylinders and brake pads were replaced. At some point during the cars life, the seats were recovered and are super nice. I removed the carpet/padding and the floors are super nice. The trunk still has its original mat, jack, handle, spare wheel. The trunk and quarters are solid! The engine compartment is complete and mostly original. All the dealer installed ac parts are intact and the belt is still in place. The cars electrical system could use a little help. The headlights, tail lights, brake lights and turn signals all work. (Driver high beam bulb is out) The dash lights, heater motor and wipers do not work. (I am assuming contacts need cleaned and new fuses installed). The only real rust in the entire car is on the passanger quarter just in front of the wheel well. *as for rust repair, this area would be about the best/easiest to repair* SEE PICS. All the glass is good. Both fenders have damage down low and the rear bumper is bent. Again it's 57years old. The odometer shows 91,949 ??actual?? your guess is as good as mine...This is just an almost all original, fairly straight, mostly rust free project with super cool patina. Its a running a driving project.....Buy it now, fix a few remaining issues/replace the carpet and have it ready for spring time cruising!
