1968 Mercury Cougar GT Additional Info:

This Cougar has been fully restored in 1993. It has small flaws but for 25 year old restoration it’s pretty nice. Highly Documented by original Owner includes window sticker and almost anything you can think of. All original metal, also all original trim or chrome was replated back then. Was originally bought in Illinois as special order, but soon after they moved to California then Colorado where the original owner had the restoration done. He owned it till about 6 years ago. I bought from second owner out of Colorado. It’s all matching numbers as far as I can tell. Only thing I could not check was tranny. But there’s no reason to believe it not original. Motor is correct date stamp and head has partial vin.. I saw another sell awhile back but there are not many Standard GT’s. 950 built to be more exact. This is a 1 of 2 ordered from same dealer. Marti Elite report included. Lots of pictures and videos. I’ve only decided to sell since I’m not comfortable in it. My knee is tight between the steering wheel and door. The tilt steering works as with everything else. The rear sequential are upgraded to Solid State..
