4dr Comet Caliente -LOST TITLE-NO RESERVE-with 302, 3spd, cammed, holley

1965 Mercury Comet 4dr Caliente Additional Info:

First the bad:
+I bought the car nearly completely restored from an older guy who lived in town southeast(iirc) of San Antonio. He provided me with a file folder full of receipts and documentation for every dollar he had spent on the build(not including his labor). I promptly lost the folder with all the paperwork, including the title. I kept thinking I just misplaced it and that it would turn up eventually but, it's obvious that it is gone. So, lost no title. I have provided the VIN and am certain it isn't stolen. I HAD the title, just don't anymore. I've also been through a few phones since then and have no way to contact the seller. Will provide bill of sale.
+I had the drivers rear tire delaminate and smash in the fender from the bottom. See pics. It also smashed the exhaust on that side so, it needs a muffler and an exhaust hanger. It might need the other muffler too, I can't remember.
+Chrome is peeling on the rear bumper.
+A few small rust spots around the car
+Needs rear leaf springs. The shocksstruts are all new but, the rear leaf springs are weak and the shocks will bottom out on big bumps sometimes.
+No ac or heat. I know he said he didn't install the glove box liner(included) bc he planned on installing ac in the glove box area but, idk why he didn't hook up the heat.
-Tried to take pictures of all the imperfections.

-The chrome trim for the back window is in the trunk.


I think that is all the bad.
The good:
+Has a rebuilt 302 and 3 speed auto. The seller had the odometer rolled back to reflect the new engine and trans(stock it had a 404). It has 7269 miles on the drivetrain.
+It has a mild cam with a nice loping idle and a Holley carburetor as well.
+Has an aftermarket radiator and electric fan
+All factory gauges work but, also has aftermarket water tempvoltageoil pressure gauges
+Has new interior
+The missingmatching wheel is in the trunk(with the delaminated tire on it)
+Shaved side mirrors
Generally, the car is awesome, it runs and drives and sounds amazing... If with the broken muffler(it doesn't actually sound any different). It has power steering which is good but, drum brakes, which is hard to get used to. It needs a little to be perfect but I have way too many toys and am moving so, I need to get rid of some things. The gf hates the comet, not actually bc of the lack of ac but, bc it gets 10 mpg and sounds like it's ready to eat children. It's not fast(I blame the 3spd auto) but, it sure sounds like it is.
Comes with new glove box insert, new door weather stripping, chrome read window trim, and the matching wheel.
