1951 Mercury Mercury Additional Info:

Beautiful 1951 Mercury . 4 door . v8 original engine . 3 speed w/ overdrive transmission. At some point dual exhausts were installed giving the car a nice sound . I put new BFG tires on about 1500 miles ago . When I bought the car it had 17,800 miles .It was a 2 owner car garage kept from Oregon when the guy prior to me bought it . Some of the chrome shows oxidation and the carpet is faded in some places . If you need more pics just ask . I looked for 3 years before buying this car about 5 years ago or so . It is one of the best that I could find in as close to original as what's out there . The outside was painted by the guy before me and is a dead ringer for the original color . The interior is the gray wool . On the back of the front seat the fabric has pulled slightly away from where the ashtray is attached . The radio does not work . I listed the car a good while back and have had some recent interest so thought I would list it one more time . This car is not priced at a steal...….the paint job was 6k ...tires 1500. start adding what you would have to do to get one in this shape and it adds up quickly . I have driven the car several times on 250 mile round trips with no problems . Is it perfect...NO ..but it's a great car that you can get int, crank up & take off & either impress your friends or relive some great memories .I had just washed it so you are seeing water in the pics !
