1971 Mercury Other Additional Info:
1971 base mercury cyclone, bought from the original owner. Very rare car one of 53 made in grabber blue of this body style and so far according to some very reliable sources it's the only one known still to exist out of the grabber blue or competition blue cars. Pretty complete missing all the floor shift and console components and 3 of the wheel mouldings. Everything else is here. Car did not have its original motor as it was at some shop getting some work done( I can supply the winning bidder with the shops number(louisiana) if they want it. I did aquire a rebuilt correct 71 4v motor for it and its dropped in the car and included.
Car has rust but is very restorable, needs floor pans, some cowl wor, tailight panel and a few other misc areas.Torque boxes good and all frame rails are good to. THERE IS NO FILLER IN THIS CAR. I just sprayed it real quick as it was in primer when I got it. The bucket seats in it have zero rips and are perfect. I'm also including a 71 gt thats been pretty stripped but has some pretty nice floor pans, beautiful trunk, tailight panel and one of the quarters is perfect.
This car comes with tons of documentation and original paperwork . I just filed Friday to get the car in my name. If not back at time of sail I can mail it to you.
Pewter gt in last few pics has alot of good sheetmetal. It also has power disc brakes and most of the hideaway grill parts, canister acutator lines etc. The pic of the parts in the garage are all original parts to the car.
Will work with shippers if you want to go that route
