1973 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Additional Info:
This vehicle may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions much better than most 1973 vehicles that I've encountered.,.... and I go to many shows. Its been garage-kept until last year, as the garage owner wanted the space for his son. This car has a Cleveland 351 motor V8 engine. I let my mechanic take the auto for [2] weeks, you know, let him beat it up,...run it around. Well, he gave it back to me and said that the vehicle is mechanically running aces! "Theres nothing wrong with this rig", he said. He also promised he'd talk to the person who buys this vehicle and answer any questions he or she may have. The car was sold to me with false advertising. So I had to install [4] new tires, anew convertible roof, a new brake system, a horn-rim kit and sequential lighting tail lights. Believe me when I say I'm not looking to make money on this sale, as I found another 1973 Mercury Cougar, and I do not need two. It has a clear title, and I'm just looking to break even. I'm a disabled vet, and an honest person,I was told a bunch of garbage about this car when I purchased, AND I DIDN'T LIKE IT DONE TO ME! In fact, the dealership reimbursed mesome money back,..I don't like games. I'm not here to sell with the intent to do it to anyone else. I tell it like it is. GOOD LUCK.PS- This vehicle has NOT BEEN RESTORED.
