BETSY is a rare pink & white 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser. Heralded as the "Car of the Future" she turns heads, was a Calendar Girl, and has won trophies. Only 8,305 in original production, not many surviving, and very few in this color combo.
368 C.I. 290 HP Engine, rebuilt 7 years ago. NEW upholstery: headliner, side panels, front seat, visors.

Special features: continental kit, fender skirts, Repair and Owner’s Manuals, 4 beautiful White Wall Goodyear tires, original 1957 wheel caps.
Matching Numbers, Original Engine, Power Brakes, Steering, Windows and Seats (seats not working), Spare Tire, Seat Belts, Tachometer, Tinted, Curved Glass, Retractable rear window (all power windows work). Front seat, visors and headliner reupholstered in 2013. Perfect!
Not Working: Radio, Power Seats ('Seat-O-Matic'), Clock, Odometer, A/C (easy projects!)
Body is straight, some dings, paint is thin. 50 year old chrome slightly pitted in some areas, 2 inch spot of chrome on front left bumper needs to be rechromed. Stainless shines up brightly.
Mechanical Details: rebuilt transmission, rebuilt power brakes, rebuilt power steering, replaced generator with alternator, new hoses, restored radiator, new plugs, wires, coil, pertronix ignito, electric fan(pusher), electric fuel pump.
